Mr. Nika, 5th grade
Mr. Nika was raised in the Ranchos. He graduated from Liberty High School in 2010. In 2015, Mr. Nika graduated with a BA in Theoretical Linguistics from the University of California Santa Cruz. In 2016, Mr. Nika worked as a substitute teacher for the Golden Valley Unified School District. He was then hired as a full time paraprofessional with Alview-Dairyland Union School District working with RSP students. In 2017, Mr. Nika was hired as a 7th grade teacher and worked with Alview-Dairyland until 2022. He is now in his 7th year teaching and is returning to Golden Valley.
Mr. Nika has a passion for working with students!! Mr. Nika’s classroom learning environment promotes fun, growth, and a sense of family. Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that he is honored to accept daily. He strives to create a community of learners that nurtures growth in a positive, fun environment. Mr. Nika believes the power of developing meaningful relationships is critical to successful learning. Mr. Nika looks forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!! He is very excited for this new adventure as he joins the Stone Creek family.
