Anti-Bullying Awareness Day & Highlights from Our Mr. Peace Assembly!

Dear Sunbird Families,
We have an important and exciting week ahead as we continue our focus on building a safe, caring, and inclusive school community.
Looking Back: Our Assembly with Mr. Peace This past week, our students had the wonderful opportunity to attend a special assembly featuring guest speaker Mr. Peace. During his presentation, Mr. Peace shared powerful messages about:

• Choosing Kindness: Small acts of compassion can make a big difference every day.
• Standing Up for Others: Empowering students to be upstanders—not bystanders—when they see someone being bullied.
• Building Unity: Showing how coming together as a school family demonstrates love, respect, and mutual support.

Looking Ahead: Anti-Bullying Awareness Day / National Unity Day On Wednesday, October 21st, our school will celebrate Anti-Bullying Awareness Day in conjunction with National Unity Day.
To show our collective commitment to kindness, acceptance, and inclusion, we are asking all of our Sunbirds to wear ORANGE on Wednesday, October 21st.
When we all wear orange together, we send a clear message: Sunbirds stand united against bullying!
